My day started off yesterday leaving Utah at eight in the afternoon and flying to LA from there I got a connecting flight to Orlando which landed at five in the morning, which is today. Then I sat in the airport for my roommate to show up so we could take the shuttle together to check in. Funny thing was that we were on separate sides of the airport so we just said we'd see each other later. I showed up and was able to walk through all the check ins, photo, documentation, and other stuff I needed to do. Then I was lucky enough to have the tour vans take me and my luggage to my room at Pattersons. When I got there I loaded all my stuff in my room, after taking a good half hour to decide which one was bigger. So then from there I went to go wait for my bus to take me to Casting. On the way there the cast member Nicole who was giving us info about what we were supposed to expect was very funny and made it a great time for us.
At casting there was no line for me to wait in. At first that is, we were then shoveled into another line to wait for our I-9 processing, from their we went to another line to verify that they have received the paperwork. Then I was informed by this man to leave since I was completely done but I had heard of having to do fingerprints for background checks. After another ten minutes we got that all sorted out.
After that I started hanging with some new friends and we went to chick-fil-a for lunch and shopping at Target cause I need food for the next little while. When I arrived home still no one else was home so I just started to unpack. Just as I was finishing up my roommate showed up to unpack as well. As soon as he was done we went to downtown Disney to go exploring and to buy our lanyards so that we wouldn't have to keep pulling our ID badge out of our wallets.
So now I sit here, tired as all can be and ready to move on to the next day and start working.
